This small glass is an arrangement of traditional techniques and design. The entire glass is made to look like a kimono, with rubbed glass in the middle like a belt. The pattern of continuous intersections is called "Kiku Tsunagi" (chrysanthemum connection), which has the meaning of immortality, good health, and exorcism of evil spirits.
